Curbside Pickup  - available at all locations 

eCARD -  Register online to create your own eCard to stream or download music, books, magazines and audiobooks or use library databases. You can also reset your PIN number. 

Federal Depository Library (Special Collections) -  In 1943, Gary Public Library was designated a selective depository to receive Government publications.  It has a legal responsibility to provide access to Federal documents not only to local citizens, but also to the entire population of the 1st Congressional District of Indiana. Congress established the Federal Depository Library Program in order to promote the American public's awareness of the activities of our Federal Government. Located in the Gary Public Library and Cultural Center. To request other materials or for more information, please call 886-2484 or email, www.gplgovdocs@garypubliclibrary.org. Your request will be filled within two business days.

Indiana Room -Local and State History (Special Collections) Research requests answered by email or by appointment only (guidelines apply) at  indigpl@garypubliclibrary.org

Mobile Hotspot -  Borrow a portable wifi HotSpot, for 7 (seven) days, to connect any wireless enabled device to the Internet for free. For patrons, age 18 or older with a valid GPL library card. Other guidelines apply. Available only at the Gary Public Library and Cultural Center. (updated 7/26/21)
