Special Collections
With over 1,000,000 volumes system-wide, the Gary Public Library provides a wealth of information to its patrons every day. Besides the acquisition of DVD and reference materials, Gary Public Library’s Special Collections also include books, maps, newspaper clippings, newspapers, magazines, newsletters, microfilms, blueprints, photographs, government documents, and materials that pertain to Gary, Northwest Indiana, the State of Indiana as a whole, and the Chicago metropolitan area.
