The public is invited to attend the Gary Public Library’s Annual Black History Program, Saturday, February 17, 3pm at the Gary Public Library and Cultural Center, 220 W. 5th Avenue. The program is FREE and will feature a performance titled The Meeting, written by Jeff Stetson and directed by Mark Spencer of the West Side Theater Guild. Refreshments more »
Gary Public Library Ribbon Cutting and Open House
The Gary Public Library and Cultural Center, 220 W. 5th Avenue is scheduled to open to the public on Saturday, January 27, 2018. A ribbon cutting and open house will be held from 9am – 2pm. The public is invited to attend. The renovated former Main Library building includes a 100-seat theatre and a spacious community room with kitchen. Both more »
