The Library Board of Trustees approved the permanent closure of the Brunswick Branch and the Du Bois Library at their June 28 Board meeting due to budget constraints.     Gary Public Library’s newest program, Art Girls – Smart Girls! is an ongoing program designed to help girls who are creative in the arts but need extra help in math and science. We are looking for enthusiastic educators that are willing to tutor our young people (grades 3rd – 12th ) in math and science.

    Participants will have an opportunity to receive tutoring in math and science as well as learn about and create works of art. For more information or to volunteer as a tutor, contact 886-2484 ext. 311.
