Meeting Room Rentals at the Gary Public Library and Cultural Center
The Gary Public Library and Cultural Center includes a 100-seat theatre, a spacious community room with kitchen, and additional meeting rooms for rental.
Gary Public Library (GPL) is one of seven independent library systems in Lake County, Indiana. Founded in 1908, the library system consists of the Gary Public Library and Cultural Center, considered its Main Library and two branches to serve the residents of Gary and the surrounding areas.
Gary is 30 minutes away from downtown Chicago, IL and within close proximity to Chicago O’Hare International and Midway Airport and its own Gary/Chicago International Airport. Other commuter systems include South Shore Rail Passenger Service from Chicago to South Bend, IN and Gary Public Transportation Bus System with routes outside the Gary city limits.
